Sacramental Registration – Reconciliation, First Communion & Confirmation

Each of these Sacraments require preparation on behalf of the person, their sponsors and their families.

As you are very aware the Covid-19 pandemic has created a new set of restrictions to all our plans, both immediate and in the future. These day-to-day challenges have also impacted on our ability to plan our sacramental programmes, including the actual dates for our Sacramental ceremonies in 2021. But we will endeavor to keep you informed and updated. Even with all this uncertainty it is especially important that you register with us immediately so we can keep you updated with any changes which will allow us to proceed in a limited way.

This enables us to:

  • Schedule the appropriate preparation programmes
  • Determine the number of sacramental ceremonies needed
  • Resource these appropriately
  • Keep people informed of changing circumstances, activities and events arranged as part of the preparation.
  • Keep in touch with people after the Sacrament itself.

We have enhanced our systems to support the delivery of the registration form, baptism certificate, etc. to be 100% online, eliminating any risk for those involved in face-to-face contact and handling paper.  However, as always we are here to support any parents who do not have access to the internet, an electronic device or printer and you can call the Parish Office on 01-459 3520 and we will assist you in whatever way we can.
